Another little hiccup

When we woke up this morning we found that our old girl looked quite lopsided. Looks like the front spring or at least one of the leaves has broken. So we had to shift most of the weight over to the other side to even it out. Seems okay for the time being… fingers crossed!

We are now on our way to Geraldton having stopped in Yalgoo and Mullewa to have a bit of a poke around on the way. Can’t tell you how much we enjoy being back on bitumen though!!! Heaven! Makes driving lopsided a whole lot easier too!

We’re hoping that we might be able to get that fixed in Geraldton. But apart from that – and getting stopped by the police 🙂 – all is well, and we’re getting real close to the end of our proper East to West trip, with Shark Bay firmly in our sight. We’re hoping to reach Hamelin Outback Station by tonight, which is run by Jackie Mahood who used to live in Beechworth!
