Wild camels, fires and swags along the highway

And another day done and dusted – literally! – along the Great Central Highway. Hours and hours of being rattled, some stretches better than others, some so bad that you feel your teeth will fall out any moment and all the bones in your body will come apart. But we continue tootling along, at about 20kms per hour, with Keith singing a lot of the time. Boy oh boy, does he know some crackers!

Anyway, we had a lovely encounter with the locals while at Warakurna getting fuel. They all loved the A Model and the kids climbed all over it!

At night we just get our swags out in the dark and sleep by the side of the road. So far so good!
